I’m an English woman living in sunny Southern California. I’m also “bizzi” and to my friends I’m “Lizzi” and I’m bizzi with lots of things!
My latest passion is button and knitted jewelry. Its fun to wear, colourful and lovely to create. I was introduced to PMC (precious metal clay) and hope to start incorporating this into my jewelry. As if that’s not enough I love to quilt, knit & sew.
When I’m bored I enjoy dabbling into our family history – a couple of years ago I was thrilled to discover a cousin living in Australia from a branch of the family I didn’t know existed! Recently I’ve discovered another cousin living in the UK who is related through my great grandfather…wow. There are also a couple of elusive great, great, great,great grandmother’s who need to be traced.
As mother to incredible teenage boys, both born in Wales I took up writing I’ve written a children’s novel, set in the countryside near where we lived before moving to California, and would love too see it published. In the mean time I’ve started on the sequel. I’m also Mum to two great teenage boys with with bizzi band schedules and I mustn’t forget my adorable, patient husband and his other “woman” Mei Mei, our dog, who is always ready for a walk. When I get the time I dabble in family history trying to find an elusive great great, great grandmother who was left out of the family tree.
